Cheyenne Apostolic Church was founded by Rev. J. W. Conley and his young family in the spring of 1988, and when we talk about C.A.C. being founded, it was indeed founded upon faith and trust in the leading of God! Its first meeting place was in the home of one of the first converts! From that humble beginning, and from that first "living room service" the hand of Divine Providence provided a place of worship every time the need arose. From storefronts to "shared sanctuaries", Cheyenne Apostolic began to grow and individuals became families and soon there was a true congregation of Apostolic believers in the city of Cheyenne!
Through the God inspired vision of Elder Conley and the faith of this ever growing congregation, a building was purchased to give Cheyenne Apostolic Church its own sanctuary and very own address! 5307 Hynds Blvd. in the wonderful western town of Cheyenne, Wyoming!
Elder and Sister Conley continued in the work of the Lord in Cheyenne until March 25, 2000. Cheyenne Apostolic Church could not be what it is today without the labor of such a dedicated couple!
Upon the 12th anniversary of Cheyenne Apostolic Church, Elder Conley turned the pastorate over to Rev. Steven Keith, who continues as pastor today.
The original building has been renovated from the top to the bottom until what was once considered for demolition has become a beautiful house of worship. Along with the original building a large multipurpose building was built on the premises that acts as a gym, Sunday school, and fellowship hall.
Through the efforts of many dedicated members, Cheyenne Apostolic reaches our community through numerous ministries and activities.
Sunday Mornings will find the church vans in use transporting children and adults alike to and from the church. On Sunday afternoons, the Ladies Jail ministry is in full swing as this message of hope is taken to those ladies who are incarcerated and cannot attend a public worship service.
Sunday evening brings our Sunday evangelistic service. This is a power packed service where we find strength for the upcoming week! Every 4th Sunday our Services are in full swing at the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp / Detention facility in Newcastle, Wyoming for those men who are unable to attend a public service but desire a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are proud to witness that these services are the real change that many are looking for!
Flames for Christ is our youth group for ages 6-12 and they are constantly doing fun things!
There's never a dull moment around Cheyenne Apostolic!
As the Lord continues to bless Cheyenne Apostolic Church it is our desire to expand our facilities in a new location within the city of Cheyenne in the upcoming years.
To God be the Glory
P.S. Dont forget your King James Bible!
